River & water levels

Shows hydrological gauge readings for rivers — water level, discharge, the short-term trend (rising / falling / steady), and each station’s official flood-warning threshold bands — as an offline-first map overlay. It’s the raw quantitative layer under the weather warnings, for people who read a gauge (paddlers, riverside hikers). Coverage today: Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Czechia.

Before you start

Do this

  1. On the map, open the layer / filter control and turn on Rivers & water.
  2. Measuring-point markers appear, coloured by threshold band (how high the river is against its official warning ladder), with halos.
  3. Tap a marker for the popup: level (cm/m above the station’s datum), discharge (m³/s where available), the trend, the threshold bands, a sparkline, and an “as of…” banner.
